Pricing
The price you are quoted will be dependent on several factors, including the specific products chosen, sizing options, and any additional items or accessories. To get an accurate price estimate, you will need to book a free in-home design visit with one of our specialists who can assess your needs and provide a personalised quote.
We understand that every customer has unique needs and requirements when it comes to their accessible bathroom. We believe in providing personalised solutions tailored to each individual's specific situation. Therefore, we do not provide standard pricing on our website. We provide with a bespoke solution to individual needs - therefore any agreed price will include a turnkey solution inclusive of specialist advice, design, sourcing, supply, delivery, installation and after sales on-site guarantee. We are aware that occasionally items may be purchased at a lower cost from alternative sources, however, we ensure that any work carried out for a customer is fit for purpose, for example, if the company advises a customer on a particular type of bath which upon installation the consumer is unable to use, then the company would remedy this without additional charge.
Our focus is on transparency and ensuring that our customers have a clear understanding of the costs involved before making a decision. By providing a tailored quote, we can ensure that you receive the most accurate pricing information specific to your needs, and nothing is overlooked or underestimated.
We strive to be transparent with our pricing, and our quotes typically include all necessary materials and installation costs. However, additional fees may apply if any unforeseen circumstances arise during the installation process or if you choose to add extra features beyond the initial agreement. Any potential additional costs will be discussed with you upfront to ensure there are no surprises.
If you have a long-term illness or you’re disabled, you don't have to pay VAT on certain goods and services that you buy or bring into the UK. Certain building work that you have done can also be free of VAT.
Not all goods and services supplied to chronically sick or disabled people are eligible for VAT relief. In general, the items covered by the VAT relief are things that are of practical help to you because of your illness or disability.
We offer a Free Design Visit where our product specialist will discuss your options, measure your bathroom space and give an accurate quote for you to decide in your own time. We cannot offer an accurate quote without first analysing your space.
Design Stage
During your FREE design visit, our product specialist will discuss your vision for your new bathroom and provide you with a range of options that meet your specifications.
At this point, there is absolutely no obligation to purchase. We come to you so we can give the best advice and an accurate quote for you to decide in your own time.
During your design visit, our product specialist will measure your bathroom and create a floorplan for your potential new bathroom. This will be sent to our designers who will bring your ideas to life with a 3D visualisation of your proposed bathroom.
This is a perfect way to envision the bathroom you have designed, ideal for your needs.
If you are happy with your design and want to go ahead with Batheability, we will then need to book in a surveyor visit.
Walk-in Baths
A walk-in bath is a bath with easy, low level access suitable for those with mobility issues. They have integrated doors and various safety features to ensure the users safety.
Yes. All of our walk-in baths enable the user to have an integrated shower as well. Both are designed to be as easily accessible as possible.
All our walk-in baths are designed with numerous safety features to ensure the users' complete safe use. They all have low level access and inward-opening doors for safe and easy bath entry. The taps are also fitted with thermostatic controlled taps to ensure your bath fills at the perfect temperature to avoid scalding.
Yes of course. At Batheability we specialise in creating personalised accessible bathrooms and so all the baths in our range will be available in various sizing options. The baths can also be available with left or right hand facing doors to suit your bathroom space.
Yes. With a walk-in bath, you need to ensure you are in the bath and the door is locked and sealed tight before you start running your bath. However, the bath taps lock to an appropriate temperature so the water is the perfect temperature from the start.
Yes. You must ensure the bath is drained before you can open the door of the walk-in bath. However, all our walk-in baths have vortex quick drain so the bath empties faster than a normal bath tub.
Yes, we have several baths in our range that have an integrated bath lift to suit those who struggle to lower themselves in and out the bath.
Walk-in Showers
A traditional shower will often have a higher shower tray with a slip surface. The difference with walk-in showers are that the shower tray is extremely low level to ensure no slips and falls.
What makes an Batheability shower stand out is the cleverly designed safety features we incorporate such as reinforced grab bars incorporated into the shower screens.
Everyone has different needs for their mobility, so our walk-in showers are fully customisable to incorporate whichever safety features will suit. All our walk-in showers have low level, non slip trays for safety and height adjustable folding seats. The structures are cleverly designed and rails can double as grab rail for easy grip and stability.
All our bathrooms are designed to suit you. When designing your bathroom, you'll be given the choice of shower. If you would prefer, we can install an electric shower for you.
Yes. Dependent on your needs, our product specialist may advise on a wet room, however, we do also have a walk-in shower range that can be suitable for wheelchair users.
A walk-in shower will always have a low-level shower tray whereas with a wet room, the drain is built within the waterproof floor and there is no water containment.
Wet Rooms
A wet room is a fully waterproofed bathroom, where the shower floor is the same level as the rest of the bathroom. The drain is built into the waterproofed floor so there is no need for a shower tray. A wet room is ideal for wheelchair users who have no or extremely limited mobility.
Before considering a wet room, you'll need to consider if you have the right spacing and bathroom specifications. It's important the floor of the bathroom is even to ensure the water can drain. All questions our product specialist can answer during your free home demonstration.
Yes of course. At Batheability we can transform any bathroom space, as long as the space is feasible for a wet room, our team will be able to help.
Wet rooms are a very safe option for those with very limited mobility. Our wet rooms are always fitted with slip-resistant flooring and will be designed with the user in mind. Our wet rooms can be installed with stylish shower screens, for a more modern finish.
Installation
Yes, we take care of the whole process for you. From design to delivery and installation, our team will transform your bathroom space.
It will all depend on your chosen bathroom design and needs. If it's a simple bath or shower swap it may only take a few days. You will always be informed of the timings before your installation starts so you can make plans around this.
Once you have had your technical survey, everything will be ordered for your bathroom. Your bathroom installation will then be scheduled for you as soon as possible. We will try and work around you as best we can, however, if it is during particularly busy periods you may have to wait a few extra weeks.
Our fitters will try and keep any disruption to the minimum. You will always be left with toilet facilities at the end of each day. There may be instances when the water will need to be turned off, but they will always discuss it with you first before doing so.
The only permit that will need to be applied for is if your area requires a parking permit, this will need to be sorted by you before the installation commences.
Any parts of your old bathroom that aren't staying will be taken out by the fitter. We will then arrange for a removal collection, to remove all old parts and rubbish.
Yes, there is a 1 year warranty on the installation of the bathroom. Our fitters are usually very thorough, but in the unlikely event that something with your bathroom goes wrong, we will send someone to fix the issue within 1 year of installation.
It is important to note that we do not offer an emergency service. We will try and get a fitter to you as soon as possible, but it may not be immediately.
Aftercare
Yes. There is a 1 year warranty on any installation work we have carried out. Your products will also have a separate warranty attached to them.
All products fitted hold up to 10 years manufacturers' warranty. This means that your products are covered in case of a manufacture fault and will either be fixed or replaced by the supplier.
Our care advisors will arrange to collect all rubbish at your property from the installation and take it away as part of our full service.
After your installation, your fitter will show you how to use certain products and the best way to safely use them.
You will also be left with a booklet signed by your fitter and yourself which includes details of your fixtures and warranties.
Safe and easy showering and bathing.
